Behavior and Emergency Policy
Expectation
We expect the best from our participants. As such, everyone will follow the familiar
guidelines:
- Be Safe
- Be Responsible
- Be Respectful
Participants’ safety is vitally important, as is the safety and maintenance of our
host facility. Our goal is to produce a quality learning experience for everyone.
Summer Film Studio for Teens is a time for serious learning and involvement in the
art of filmmaking. All participants are expected to abide by the rules of both Summer
Film Studio for Teens and our host facility, the Business Enterprise Center. Participants
must follow AnOvation Group leadership instructions.
Inappropriate behaviors such as lack of cooperation, disregard for instructions,
running in the building or any type of fighting will be dealt with in the following
manner:
- Verbal warning
- Verbal warning and call to parents
- Dismissal from the Studio and no refund
The response to more serious infractions may deviate from this sequence at the discretion of the
Studio Director. In case of dismissal, there will be no refund of the registration
fee.
Hydration and Dietary Restrictions
- Bring proper hydration (portable water) for outdoor shoots
- Bring afternoon snack if participant has dietary restrictions
In case of Accidents
A First-Aid kit will be maintained and kept in a central location. Staff members
are certified in First-Aid.
- Evaluate situation
- Administer first aid as needed.
- Call ambulance / 911 if needed.
- Notify Studio director (if not already involved)
- Notify parents
- Notify emergency contact
In case of Illness
- Participants should be kept home if they are contagious
- Symptoms include: runny nose, fever, vomiting within 24 hours
- Participants will be sent home if they become sick while at Studio.

Session Information
Produce two films in two weeks! Cost is $300; discount for early registration. Monday-Friday:
1-5pm.
